Ackrus Solutions is the result of a recent partnership and expansion plan of a computer services business in Austin, TX. The newly expanded team adds the ability to provide many more services to our new and existing customers.

Can you get rid of these annoying pop-up ads?
In a word, yes. Pop-up ads are usually the result of downloads to your computer from unscrupulous websites. Most of the time the downloads happen without you knowing. Every computer is different though this can usually be accomplished in about one-hour.

Is it safe to setup a wireless network in my office?
Wireless technology can be setup to be open to anyone with a wireless network card or secured to allow only users with encrypted authentication keys access. For real security in a wireless setting Ackrus Solutions does not recommend using WEP as a protocol.

How much does it cost to have a wireless network setup?
In general, wireless networking is relatively inexpensive. Installing a basic wireless router at your business with minimal or no security can take less than an hour and cost less than $150. In most cases you will want your network to be secure and setting up additional security measure can increase the cost. Call us for a quote.

How can I access my data when I want to work from home?
VPN or virtual private networking has continued to gain popularity for companies with remote employees or employees who need access after hours and weekends. Make sure that the VPN you setup or have setup is secure and can only be accessed by employees who need it.

Our office needs new computers. How do we accomplish this on a budget?

If I need a computer worked on how do I know my data will be safe?
